In my dreams

George Clooney wants to date me. He gave me his address to his apartment. Only problem was my conscious wasn't completely detached. I was still married. It didn't seem to be a problem for a George though.

This morning I told Jonathan that we have to create a list of famous people we're allowed to date should they ask. Remember that Friends episode?

If only we could live in a dream world, and not be married in it.

Fourth of july recap

This year's 4th was also the 3rd annual family fishing tournament out at "The Farm". It's the first time Jonathan and I were able to attend. Highlights include: making two cherry pies while my sister who taught me how to make pie looked on (student has now become the master), listening to my nephew LB giggle, arguing with my two-year-old niece Jamie about my camera (she wouldn't believe it was mine), watching my other two-year-old niece Jenna splash Jamie, and oh, watching the participating members do battle with their fishing rods in an effort to catch the most fish. Jonathan, true to form, snapped another rod. Uncle Bill beat them all, earning him the title of Fish Whisperer. And then there were some mercy perch points given to those who didn't catch any. Can't wait for next year's tournament!

Happy feet

Here's the baby booties I knitted (pattern from Debbie Bliss' Simply Baby). They're so cute and tiny. I knitted them with a bamboo blend yarn (NaturallyCaron.com) that was thready but had a soft sheen to it.

I plan on gifting them to Jonathan's former co-worker and his wife who is expecting their first child. I need to figure out how to adapt the pattern for my nephew who has big feet for a 5 month old.
